68TH BPSC EXAM 2022 RECRUITMENT

Updates:- BPSC 69th Notification 2023 has been issued by the Bihar Public Service Commission on 27th June 2023. The BPSC 69th Prelims examination is tentatively scheduled on 30th September 2023. The application window will be open from 15th July to 5th August 2023. Those who want to apply for the same are advised to visit the official website of the BPSC.


The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released the BPSC 68th Exam Notification on 18th November 2022, and the examination is tentatively scheduled for 12th February 2023. The BPSC 68th Exam will be divided into three stages: preliminary, mains, and interview. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) holds this examination annually to select eligible candidates for positions in the General Administrative Department in the state of Bihar. The various posts come under the General Administrative Department such as Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Director, Superintendent of Bihar police, Commerce Tax Officer, Election Officer, Revenue Officer, Welfare Officer, etc.

HOW TO APPLY FOR BPSC 68TH EXAM

Candidates can apply online for the BPSC 68th Combined Competitive Examination by visiting the commission's official website. Following are the instructions to be followed to apply for this exam (once the official link is activated):

  • First, visit the official website of the BPSC.

  • Click on the “Apply Online” button for the BPSC 68th Combined Competitive Examination.

  • If you are new to the portal, register yourself first by filling up the required information (your name, date of birth, father/mother’s name, mobile number, e-mail ID etc.)

  • After registering, login with the registration number and password to fill up your form.

68TH BPSC 2022 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

If you want to apply for the posts through the 68th BPSC Combined Competitive Examination, you must first meet the eligibility criteria requirements. The following information will help you determine your eligibility for BPSC vacancies under the 68th CCE:

  1. Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian citizen to be eligible to apply for this post. 

  1. Age Limit

To apply for this exam, candidates must be between the age of 20 and 37 years. According to government regulations, Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved group Candidates belonging to other states will not be entitled to any reservation and shall be treated as general category candidates.

BPSC 68TH EXAM SELECTION PROCESS

The Exam will be conducted in three phases: 

  • Prelims

  • Mains 

  • Interview. 

*Candidates must have to clear both the written examinations and then they have to appear in the interview for the final selection.

  1. PRELIMS EXAMINATION

The following are the most important aspects of the BPSC exam pattern:

  • Prelims examination will be conducted in offline mode and will be OMR based.

  • The questions will be objective in nature and there is no negative marking in BPSC Prelims.

  • The BPSC Combined Competitive Prelims Exam consists of only one paper, which is General Studies (GS).

  • The BPSC Prelims exam has a total of 150 marks and lasts 2 hours.

  • History of India and salient features of the history of Bihar. 

  • General Geography and geographical division of Bihar and its major river systems. 

  • Indian Polity and Economy and major changes in the economy of Bihar in the post-independence period.

इस पत्र में प्रश्न बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति के माध्यमिक (सेकेण्डरी) स्तर के होंगे। इस परीक्षा में सरल हिंदी में अपने भावों को स्पष्टतः एवं शुद्ध-शुद्ध रूप में व्यक्त करने की क्षमता और सहज बोध शक्ति की जाँच समझी जायेगी।

68TH BPSC EXAM ADMIT CARD

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards before 9-10 days of the exam. Admit card is the most important document which is mandatory for taking the examination and contains following information:

  • Name

  • Date Of Birth

  • Photograph

  • Registration Number

  • Name Of Exam Centre

  • Date Of Birth

  • Reporting Time

  • Your Admit Card for the same will appear on the screen. Now you can download it and take a printout for further usage.
