UPSC CDS 2 WRITTEN RESULT DECLARED

UPSC CDS 2 RESULT OUT:

The Union Public Service Commission has declared the results of the COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (II), 2022 which was held on 04th September 2022.  A total of 6658 candidates have qualified for being interviewed by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence, for admission to:

(i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 155th (DE), Course commencing in July 2023,

(ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in July 2023,

(iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (214 F(P)) commencing in July 2023,

(iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 118th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in October 2023 and 

(v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 32nd SSC Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course commencing in October 2023.  

Below are the steps to Check the UPSC CDS 2 Result 2022:

  • Go to the official website of the commission at https://upsc.gov.in/.

  • Click the "What's New" tab on the homepage.

  • Now, select "Written Result: Combined Defence Service Examination (II), 2022" from the drop-down menu.

  • The UPSC CDS Result & Merit List will be displayed on the screen.

  • Download and verify the CDS 2 Result by searching your roll number

The candidature of all the candidates, whose Roll Numbers are displayed in the CDS Written Result PDF, is provisional. According to the requirements for entrance to the exam, individuals must provide authentic certificates to prove their age (Date of Birth), educational background, and employment. NCC (C) (Army Wing/Senior Division Air Wing/Naval Wing), among other credentials.

The original Certificates are to be submitted:

  • Not later than 01st July 2023 for IMA & NA, 

  • Not later than 13th May 2023 for AFA and 

  • Not later than 1st October 2023 in case of SSC course only. 

The candidates must not send the original Certificates to the Union Public Service Commission. 

For SSB Interview:- 

  • Candidates who passed the written exam and designated the Army (IMA/OTA) as their first preference must register on the recruiting directorate website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in , in order to be called for an SSB interview. 

  • It is urged that candidates who have already registered on the website of the recruiting directorate do not do so again.

  • Within 15 days of the OTA's final result's publication (after the SSB Interview), the Commission's website will make the mark sheets (non-qualified candidates) available. The marks-sheets will be accessible there for 30 days.
