UPSC RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION 2023 OUT:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Recruitment Notification 2023, inviting applications for positions, including Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardiology), Assistant Director Census Operations (Technical), Deputy Director, and Assistant Professor roles. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official UPSC website.

UPSC RECRUITMENT 2023 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Nationality

Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee (before 1st January 1962), or a person of Indian origin with eligibility certificate.

Age Limit

Varies by post:

• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardiology): Max 40 years.

• Assistant Director Census Operations (Technical): Max 40 years.

• Deputy Director(Plg./Stat.): Max 40 years.

• Assistant Professor (Botany, Chemistry, English, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Tamil): Max 35-40 years.

Note:- Age Relaxation: Provided for special categories, including Ex-Servicemen, Central Government employees, SC/ST/OBC, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Educational Qualification

Specific educational qualifications are required for each post. For instance:

• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardiology): MBBS degree, post-graduate degree in Cardiology.

• Assistant Director Census Operations (Technical): Master’s Degree in Statistics, Operational Research, Population Sciences, Demography, or Mathematical Statistics.

• Assistant Professor (Botany): Master’s Degree in the subject with 55% marks and NET/SLET/Ph.D.

Experience & Duties

• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardiology): Minimum three years of teaching experience in relevant specialty.

• Deputy Director(Plg./Stat.): Five years’ experience in Statistical Planning work investigation/research.

• Assistant Director, Census Operations (Technical)/Assistant Professor: No experience required.
